Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements, Expectations of Instructors & Additional Information: California Teaching Credential required (DSAE Credential in ESL) Must attend all required trainings and meetings – no exceptions Experience using PLATO highly desired Experience teaching adults highly desired Must tailor coursework to the individual needs of students Must dress professionally, be prepared, and be on time Must accurately collect data on student progress and attendance Must follow timelines and submit accurate timesheets Must teach essential workplace employability skills: strong work ethic, integrity, respect, confidence, punctuality, attendance, enthusiasm, & positive behavior, by word and example Instructor is required to be PLATO and CASAS trained. Attendance will be taken on CASAS. If attendance falls below 15 students the course will be canceled at any point during the 2022- 2023 school year. Bilingual preferred.
